SAN FERNANDO HEALTH CENTER

CLIENT:          LOS ANGELES COUNTY
TYPOLOGY:   AMBULATORY CARE BUILDING

This project replaces the San Fernando Health Center that was demolished as a result of the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. The design is a one-story, 10,000-square-foot building over a 34-space parking garage.  It reflects Mission Revival and Early California architecture, and the hacienda style creates an informal and inviting ambience. The program is an in-kind replacement which incorporates growth increases required by current codes and industry healthcare-planning standards. It is funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Office of Emergency Services (OES).
