City of Covina Community Participation Workshop

On Monday, February 22nd, the City of Covina and Gonzalez Goodale Architects hosted the first of three public Community Participation Workshop for the programming and master plan of the new Covina Senior & Community Center.  Gonzalez Goodale Architects presented draft project Guiding Principles, an initial facility program, and preliminary siting recommendations for public input. There was an overwhelmingly positive turnout and strong participation in the process. Further information about the event, including materials presented, can be accessed at City of Covina's webpage dedicated to the project or the Parks and Recreation Facebook page.

There will be two additional Community Participation Workshops pertaining to this project - March 21st, 7 pm, in the Recreation Hall at Covina Park and April 11th, 7 pm, in the Covina City Hall Council Chambers. Those who are unable to attend are encouraged to access presentation materials, meeting memoranda, and participate by sending their input directly to the City of Covina through the dedicated project webpage.
